The new graphical profile that Linnstudio has developed for the scaffolding company SAIN can now be seen in Skånegatan across from the Scandinavium Arena.

Nordic Urban Development
Erik is preparing a lecture at Nordiskt Forum on 24 November, which focuses on the realisation of the visions of the large urban development projects in the Nordic countries. The clients are CMB, Centrala Älvstaden och Fastighetsägarna.

Extension of Auto showroom
With the Building permit for Eklunds bil in Göteborg completed, work continues with construction drawings and specifications.
February 11, 2010:
Commission at Volvo
Linnstudio is invited to make a design proposal for the main entrance at Volvo Car Corporation in Torslanda. The building was designed by Lund & Valentin in 1967, and was awarded by the Per and Alma Olsson Foundation the same year. The entrance space covers 900 square metres, containing reception, lobby, exhibition and a café.

Office space in Skandiahamnen
The first commission of the new year is the development of new office spaces in an old industrial building in Skandiahamnen. The client is EPG Projektledning AB.

The sustainable city – new consulting assignment
Erik Linn has been commissioned by CMB, Centre for Management of the Built Environment, to contribute in the creation of the new centre for sustainable city development, MISTRA Urban Futures, that is being set up in Göteborg.
June 4, 2009:
Competition launched
The open architecture competition for a new Tennis Facility Concept, for which Erik Linn has written the program, has now started. The program has been developed in collaboration with Sodra, CBBT, Martinsons and Swedish tennis legend Stefan Edberg.
The competition program can be found on the website of the Swedish Association of Architects.

New office building
Linnstudio has developed a concept for an office building in Göteborg for NCC Property Development. The idea is to use the 4 000 sqm building to reconstitute and enhance the surrounding urban spaces.

New front
The new glass front on Hotel Flora in Göteborg is in place. Linnstudio produced the drawings for the builder Tvåtumfyra.

Interview on TV4
Erik Linn was interviewed on Swedish television today about the planned Ferris wheel in Göteborg. Although it will certainly be a success, he said the need for more essential and identity-strong projects in the city is big.

New website ready
Today Linnstudio launches its new website. With clear graphics, navigation and communication, it is aimed at being able to reflect the activities of the company.

Competition program
Erik Linn has been commissioned to write the program for a coming open, Swedish architecture competition. The program will be developed in collaboration with the client, the local municipality, the Swedish Association of Architects and others.
November 22, 2007:
Article in GöteborgsPosten
Today GöteborgsPosten publishes Erik Linn's debate article on the conditions for architecture in Göteborg. Among other things, the article contains a wish list with ten points to develop the architectural profile of the city.
One of these is to reinstate the office of the City Architect, which Göteborg has not had since 1999.

Erik Linn appointed to the Zimdal jury
Erik Linn has been appointed to the jury of the Helge Zimdal prize, the local biennial architectural award of the Swedish Association of Architects in Västra Götaland. The award is given to a building that has 'reached a substantially higher quality than usual'.
